Leopard: Pandora in Dashboard
Posted at 2:46 PM by Mitchell HashimotoSo I was one of the lucky ones who was able to get a copy of Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard early this morning
I installed it and got it up and running without a hitch fairly quick. One of the coolest features I have found so far has been the ability to have “web clips” on your dashboard. Why is this so cool?
I can have Pandora Internet Radio running in the background without having to have a browser window open! Of course there are other uses for this feature… but pandora is by far my favorite! To show this off, I made a quick screencast (its what I do, isn’t it?).
Of course you can do this with any other internet radio site, but I choose Pandora!
Click here to view the screencast! Its rather large, dimensionally, so I am linking it instead of embedding it in my post.

I’ve seen, you are playing wow?
How does it run under leopard? Any problems?

I have run WoW under leopard, I don’t really actively “play” anymore with my busy schedule (school + work) but once in awhile when I am bored and have some free time I may run around or something. It runs fine. I’ve never had any issues with it. Go for it.

I too have experienced the joy of Pandora under Leopard. The Flash Player runs very well with no apparent performance issues. I’ve pretty much shelved ITunes for the time being.

I saw, you’re playing World of Warcraft? Does it run under leopard? I’ve read some articles in the Blizzard Mac Forum that there are some problems… I’m not sure installing leopard on my mbp 17 if wow is not running…
greetings
